Quarter final game

Girls Class D Quarter final soccer game against Wisdom will be held on Wednesday, Oct 26 at 4:00 pm.  The game will be held on the 11th ave soccer field.  $3 for adults, $1 for students.  GO OWLS!!!

Quarter Final softball game

The varsity girls softball quarter final game will be held on June 9 at 2:00 pm here in Madawaska.  Please come and support our girls!!  GO OWLS!!!

Varsity XCountry Skiing

The boys and girls varsity xcountry skiing teams have had a great season.  On Friday the county classical meet took place in Caribou and our girls team came in 2nd missing first place by ONE point!!!  The boys team came in 4th place.  The county freestyle championship will be held today, Monday, Feb 8th in Fort Kent at 2:30!!  Good luck to the teams,  we are very proud of you! Go Owls!!

Varsity Girls Basketball Prelim Game

The Varsity girls basketball team will be traveling to Stearns High School for a preliminary game.  The game is scheduled for Tueday, Feb 9 at 5:30 at Stearns.  Due to possible inclement weather it will be moved to Wednesday, Feb 10 same time, same place.  The decision for the game reschedule will not take place until Tuesday morning around 11:00 am. Go Owls!!

Game rescheduled

The varsity basketball game against Central Aroostook has been rescheduled for Jan 29. Girls at 5:30 and boys at 7:00.  The games will be played in Central Aroostook!  GO OWLS!!!

Rescheduled basketball games

The middle school basketball games scheduled for today vs Fort Kent has been cancelled and has been rescheduled for Thursday Dec. 17. Girls will play at 330 and boys at 5.

The varsity basketball game that was scheduled for today vs Central Aroostook has also been postponed to a later date which has yet to be determined!

Soccer season/ Winter season

We now say good bye to the 2015 soccer season which was filled with disappointments and accomplishments!!  The boys and girls made us all proud in the way they represented Madawaska Middle/High School.  Hold your heads high and move on!! Cherish all the moments that you have been through and know that they will make you a better student/athlete!!!  Now we move on to basketball and skiing.  Our first middle school basketball game will be held Nov 13 at the Madawaska Elementary School.  I would also like to welcome to our coaching staff Mrs. Erin Dugal Beaulieu who is our new middle school boys basketball coach!!  Have a great winter season everyone!!! GAME CHANGE

The Eastern Maine championship game will be held on Nov. 4 at 5:00 pm on the turf field in Presque Isle.  The Ashland sosccer field is under water and again I offered to hold the game here in Madawaska but that idea was still not taken seriously!  Oh well, we tried!!! GO OWLS!!!!

Eastern Maine Championship Game

The girls had a great performance on Saturday and their hard work paid off.  They won their semi final game against Penobscot Valley High School 1 to 0.  Aspen Cote with an assist from Dakota Cyr got us the win!
The Eastern Maine Championship game will be on Wednesday the 4th of November at 4:00 pm in Ashland.  Please please come and support our lady owls in this great game!!  There is a gate fee, $4 for adults, $2 for students and seniors.  GO OWLS!!!!

Another game change

The varsity girls soccer semi final game has now been moved to Hampden Adademy.  The field in Penobscot Valley is over an inch under water.  I did offer our field but they did not go for that idea!!!
Anyway,  the game will be this Saturday, the 31st at 3:00 pm. Lets go OWLS!!!

Semi final game change

Good morning!!  The girls varsity soccer semi final game has been changed to Saturday Oct 31 at 2:00 pm due to our lovely northern maine weather!  The game is still scheduled to be played on the field at Penobscot Valley High School!  Will keep everyone posted!

Girl's Semi-final game

The girl's semi-final game against Penobscot Valley High School will be held on Friday, Oct 30 at 2:00 pm.  However, if the weather does not cooperate and the field is not playable then the game may be moved to another venue or to Saturday the 31st in the afternoon.  I will keep everyone posted if anything changes!  GO OWLS!!!

Limestone middle school game

The Limestone game has been changed again.  There will be no away game,  Limestone will come to us on Sept. 9 same time same place!!

Game Change

The middle school game vs Limestone has been moved to Sept. 18 same time same place!

Athletics 2015

Soccer season is now underway with our first varsity home games scheduled for Friday, Aug. 21 against Easton.

Game change 12-17-14

The varsity basketball games that were scheduled to play today against Ashland have been rescheduled due to weather conditions.  The games will be played in Ashland on Dec. 22, girls will be at 5:30 and boys will be at 7:00.

Changing Seasons

Congatulations to our boys and girls soccer teams for another successful season, We are all proud of you!  As the snow begins to fly we have now started our winter season.  Good luck to the boys and girls basketball teams and also to our boys and girls cross country ski teams.  We also have one alpine skier who will representing our school as well.  Please come out and support all of our teams!

Girls Varsity Soccer Quarter Final Game

The girls varsity soccer quarter final game will be held on Wednesday, Oct 29 at 4:00 pm in Houlton.  Girls will be leaving at 12:30.  Hope to have a few fans there to support our girls!!!

Boys and Girls Pre-lim Games

The boys and girls preliminary games have been scheduled for soccer.  These are the game times permitting the weather cooperates!!
Boys - Friday Oct. 24 at 2:00 pm
Girls - Saturday Oct. 25 at 2:00 pm

Both games will be held at the Elementary School field due to poor field conditions on our varsity field.  For any changes, I will post updates as soon as they become available!!
