Madawaska Hosts Calais Today

The Madawaska Varsity Girls and Boys host Calais today, Thursday, December 29.  The girls' game tips off at 1:00 and the boys tip off afterwards at 2:30.  Come support your teams!

Alumni Game Fundraiser

The Madawaska Athletic Booster Club will be hosting an evening of fun on Thursday, December 27 beginning at 6:00 pm.  The event will begin with a exhibition game between members the current girls and boys varsity basketball teams.  Following that game, Madawaska alumni players from the current and past decades will go head to head.  Come brave the weather and join us for a night of fun!

Fort Kent vs. Madawaska Game Time Changed

The game time for tonight's game has been moved up to 6:00.  Please brave the snow and show up to support our girls!

Games Cancelled due to Winter Storm 12/10/12

The following events have been cancelled for today due to the winter storm advisory.  Madawaska will be dismissing @ 1:00 today.

1. Middle School Girls (A-Team) vs. Limestone (Home) @ 4:00 in the Madawaska Elementary School gym. CANCELLED

2. Middle School Boys (A-Team) vs. Limestone (Home) @ 5:30 in the Madawaska Elementary School gym. CANCELLED

3. Varsity Girls vs. Wisdom (Home) @ 5:30 in the High School Gym. CANCELLED

4. Varsity Boys vs. Wisdom (Home) @ 7:00 in the High School Gym. CANCELLED

These games will be rescheduled at a later time.  

Soccer Awards and Recognition

Congratulations to the following varsity soccer players who earned the All Aroostook Recognition this year:

Girls:  Samantha Nadeau, Shannon Blanchette, and Leah Gonneville.

Boys: Jake Gendreau, Ian Lee, Tim Deschenes, Sam Cyr, and Aaron Thibeault.

Additionally, the following individuals have been awarded the 2012 Class C East Regional All Star Team:

A Special Congratulations goes out to Ian Lee for the following additional Recognition:

1.     For earning the 2012 Class C Butch Shaw Memorial Award

2.     For making the Eastern Maine All State Team

3.     For being recognized as the Class C Boys Player of The Year
